Sewn Arts Sunday: Rethinking the Ordinary
When I stumbled across Karen Reimer's work, I was really smitten. An embroidered crossword puzzle? Pillowcases with prime numbers that get bigger on the pillowcase as the number gets bigger? A little embroidered restaurant order? How cool! I love anyone who can appeal to my nerdy and crafty sides all at once. (I'm particularly fond of her pages from the Bible and academic works. Of course.)
