national bird?
i never realized how intimidating turkeys could look until i found the picture i based this blind contour on. maybe that's why old benny franklin wanted to make it our national bird. or maybe because it is so tricky and hides so well. i'm glad that he was overruled though. it'd be weird to eat our national bird every year to celebrate our country...
I found this picture too...and it was the first drawing i did. YOURS, is MUCH better than mine. I find the front "parting" of feathers to be very interesting indeed.
